Donation for MFI now possible

MANILA, Philippines - MFI Foundation recently launched Bigay Aral Text Donate Program in time for Valentines Day. In partnership with Wolfpac Mobile, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Smart Communications, the program allows Smart and Talk N Text subscribers to donate towards the Industrial Technician Program (ITP).

MFI’s flagship program has 3,500 scholar-alumni trained in the technical areas of electrical, electronics, instrumentation, tool & die, and information technology. ITP also boasts of an 80 percent employment rate even before graduation due to the quality of its training and strong link with industry partners.

“This is a great opportunity for our employees, partners, former scholars, and everybody else who believe in MFI to support our scholarship program,” said president Alejandro Escaño. “Now there’s a quick and easy way to donate to MFI.”

Donors may choose between giving P5, P10, P25, P50, P100, P500 or P1,000 worth of text load. To give, just text ARAL and the donation amount to 357 (ex. ARAL 50). It is also possible to give a regular and automatic donation to MFI every 20 days by texting ARAL, donation amount, and the word ON to 357 (ex. ARAL 50 ON). Smart Money users can also text MFI and donation amount (ex. MFI 100) and send to 270.
