IYO ANTOY - Antolin dela Cerna - The Philippine Star

Niay item gikan sa Internet (nakabasa na tingali mo ini), nga nag-ingon: “Florida county will throw parents of truant kids in jail.” Kuyaw no?

Anyway, sa Palm Beach, Florida, ato ning kutloon: “A new truancy court in Palm Beach, Florida aims to cut down on the state's absentee rate for young children by punishing parents who don't take their kids to school. Florida law says parents of children under 16 who let their kids miss 15 days of school within three months can be sent to jail for up to two months as punishment.”

Ang headline: “Man hides cash in oven; cash gets baked by accident.”

"It was everything I had," nagkanayon ang bana. "I've got nothing to my name. That money was supposed to go towards my mortgage." Bidang danguyngoy sa asawa.

Nia pa gyud: “Women you should never date.”   Matud pa: “Gentlemen this article will give you a very vivid picture of the kind of women you MUST NOT DATE. You must keep the distance if and when you come across women with the following traits: 1. The Nagger. Nagging to a certain extent is fine. It becomes a problem when it exceeds that certain limit. She is your girlfriend and not your school teacher to nag you at every opportunity that presents itself.

 2. The Possessive / Obsessive Stalker. She calls you every two hours? She messages you every half an hour? She gets upset the moment you look at another woman and throws a fist when you talk to another lady? “ Buwagi ni uy! 3. The Attention Seeker. All women like to get as much attention as possible from their man. But some women make a nasty habit out of it. They will be on their best behaviour as long as they are the centre of attraction and will totally flip the moment the attention shifts.

4. The Emotional Wreck. While men love to be the hero in a girl’s life please avoid playing hero in the life of a damsel in distress. Yes, your love will help her get emotionally better but that does not mean she is going to fall for you. Falling for an emotional wreck will drain you emotionally and you might not get much in return.

5. The Material Girl. This one is pretty simple. If she is only after your money then she is no good. She will distance herself from you when she finds a more affluent man or when your pocket strength weakens. Building emotional ties with her is futile and so is expecting a steady stable relationship.
