How much has China infiltrated?

OFF TANGENT - Aven Piramide - The Freeman

I was shocked to hear that a foreigner had infiltrated our uniformed corps. This apparently was discovered in an investigation of the Senate Committee on Justice and Human Rights led by Sen. Risa Hontiveros. Alarm crept into my whole being when the lady senator mentioned that the foreigner was given a high rank in the service. The position was reportedly the honorary rank of auxiliary rear admiral (equivalent to a two-star general rank in the military) in the Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary in the year 2018, when our president was Rodrigo Duterte. But, even if it was in an honorary category, he still he some kind of a commander in the military service.

The name that cropped up in the Senate was one of a Joseph Cue Sy. From the internet, I learned that Sy is a Filipino businessman who was an executive of Global Ferronickel, a firm involved in nickel mining. Atty. Eliezer Ambatali, legal service director of the Philippine Statistics Authority, said that his office found evidence showing that Joseph Sy procured fake documents during his birth registration process.

In the Hontiveros committee documents meeting, Ambatali revealed that Sy was previously arrested after his biometrics matched those of a Chinese citizen named Chen Zhong Zhen.

Fraud accordingly marked the Filipino citizenship of Sy. Fraud included the falsification of baptismal certificates and the absence of birth records of the parents, as well as records of the midwife or the person who attended to the birth.

Mr. Sy or Mr. Chen is not the first Chinese to have been found as having fraudulently infiltrated the Philippine social fabric. Before him there was another Chinese citizen named Guo Hua Ping, or Alice Guo. For a while she succeeded to assume a fraudulent identity as Alice Guo. After reading this case of Mr. Sy/Chen, I tried to research what has happened to Guo Hua Ping. I felt apprehensive that Alice, thru her skillful and fraudulent ways, had already flown the proverbial coop. I got this information: Alice is currently incarcerated at the Correctional Institution for Women, in Mandaluyong City to serve a sentence of life imprisonment and ordered to pay a minuscule fine of only ?2 million. She was found guilty of qualified human trafficking on November 20, 2025. But she continues to face a phalanx of cases. Even while in prison, there reportedly are warrants for her arrest for anti-graft violations in addition to a ?1 billion tax evasion case.

There is an ominous silence from Communist China regarding these two cases of Mr. Sy/Chen and Alice Guo. In the noise that attended the Alice Guo cases, I did not hear China denying her Chinese birthright. Neither have I heard that China has extended Guo any help if she was indeed a native of that country. This early, China has shown the same “no comment” attitude in so far as Sy/Chen is concerned. In the face of a digital confirmation that Filipino Joseph Sy and Chinese citizen Chen Zhong Zhen are one and the same person will China argue against the theory that it was its plan to insert Sy/Chen in our country? Alas, from the point of view of China, are both Sy/Chen and Alice Guo Chinese or not? Now, is it fair to conclude that the other Chinese who have infiltrated our country should take note of China’s seeming undefined stand of forsaking them when they have become useless?
