FOREIGNERS. Most foreigners such as Japanese and Koreans who stay in Lapu-Lapu City speak very little or no English at all.

WORDS. Communication consists of Japanese or Korean words coupled with mispronounced English words.

HEADACHE. One Korean woman who frequents a particular casino in the city was overheard saying, "English, headache," at the same time pointing to her temple.
