Fisherman rescued in Negros Occidental

MANILA, Philippines — A fisherman reported missing for three days was rescued by personnel of the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) in the waters off Hinoba-an, Negros Occidental over the weekend.

Feb Cayao, 48, was last seen heading for a fishing expedition on Sept. 13.

Cayao failed to return home after his boat developed engine trouble.

The rescue team brought Cayao and his boat to the nearest beach.
