Retired PAF man shoots neighbors, kills self
MANILA, Philippines — A retired personnel of the Philippine Air Force shot two of his neighbors before killing himself in Villamor, Pasay City yesterday.
Pasay police chief Col. Cesar Paday-os identified the suspect as Leandro Pedrosa while the victims are partners Jovel Villegas and Hazel Mejares, both 47.
The shooting happened at the corner of 14th and 15th streets in Barangay 183 at around 8:50 a.m., Paday-os said in a text message.
Probers said the 59-year-old Pedrosa and his victims were arguing before the incident. The reason for the argument remains unclear.
A witness told probers Pedrosa went back to his house and took a handgun of unknown caliber. He then went outside and shot his neighbors and himself.
Paday-os said the victims were brought to the Pasay City General Hospital for treatment but one of them was transferred to another hospital.
The two remain in critical condition.
