P1 million shabu, Ecstasy seized in Bulacan

MALOLOS, Philippines — Shabu and party drugs worth more than P1 million were seized in Baliuag town and in this city on Monday.

Col. Manuel Lukban Jr., acting Bulacan police director, said Alejandro Paloma was arrested in a sting in Barangay Caniogan here.

Lukban said Paloma yielded 131 grams of shabu valued at P890,890, 2.74 grams of marijuana, two .45-caliber pistols, a .38-caliber revolver, a motorcycle, a cell phone, assorted drug paraphernalia and marked money.

Meanwhile, Maria Isabel Lim was arrested in a controlled delivery operation in Baliuag town on Monday afternoon.

An official of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency said Lim received Ecstasy tablets, which came from the Netherlands, worth P170,000.
