City accountant gunned down

CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna, Philippines – The chief accountant of the Bacoor City hall was gunned down yesterday morning. 

Marissa Ramchand, 54, died while being treated in a hospital.

Superintendent Ronan Clarabal, Bacoor police chief, said the victim was about to enter her car in front of their house at Princeton Heights subdivision in Barangay  Mambog around 8 a.m. when  a masked man appeared from behind and shot her.

Probers said the suspect entered the subdivision by posing as a construction worker. 

Witnesses said the killer fled on foot.
