Mild quake hits Cebu

MANILA, Philippines - A magnitude-3.5 earthquake hit Cebu City yesterday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said.

The quake occurred at 1:05 a.m., with its epicenter located at 47 kilometers northeast of the city.

No damage or aftershock was expected from the quake.
