400 PNR housing beneficiaries get land titles

MANILA, Philippines -At least 400 beneficiaries of a Philippine National Railways (PNR) housing project in Cuyapo town, Nueva Ecija recently received certificates of lot awards.

The PNR housing project covers 10 hectares and will benefit a total of 1,500 families, a statement from the Office of Vice President Jejomar Binay said yesterday.

The project is part of HUDCC’s socialized housing program under Executive Order (EO) 48, which declares PNR’s non-core properties as socialized housing sites.

The EO allows the distribution of the properties to qualified occupants.
