PDEA nabs 2 alleged drug dealers

MANILA, Philippines - The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) has arrested Cagayan Valley’s top drug dealer and the sixth most wanted drug personality in Western Visayas.

Falcon Eric Fernandez, 42, a resident of Barangay San Nicolas in Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya, was arrested in a buy-bust operation at around 5:30 p.m. Sunday.   

“He is the number one drug personality in the province and fourth overall in the region,” said Juvenal Azurin, PDEA regional director.  

Noli Mercado, 40, was arrested in a sting operation in San Carlos City, Negros Occidental Saturday morning.
