Two men rob 3 passengers

CEBU, Philippines - Three passengers of a multicab bound for Mandaue City from Talamban, Cebu City were robbed Friday dawn.

Robbed of cash and valuables were Karen Lopea, 21, of barangay Maguikay, Mandaue City, Mary Jane Sollano, 40, married, of barangay Basak, Mandaue City, and Demetrio Ochea Jr., 27, single, of  barangay Basak, Lapu-Lapu City.

The three passengers told police two men, one of them armed with a handgun, announced a holdup while the multicab was in Banilad.

Taken from Lopea was a bag containing P1,000  and a Samsung cellular phone.

Sollano lost a bag containing P2,000 and a cellphone worth P5,200.

Ochea also lost P2,000. (FREEMAN)
