“I’m doing good. Just a lot of hormones of course. I couldn’t imagine how hard it is to be pregnant is an easy thing. First of all, I thought it’s easy to get pregnant. I think I have a lot of respect for mothers,” nakangiting bungad sa amin ni Celeste sa Fast Talk with Boy Abunda.
“We wanted to have a baby but once you see the positive pregnant test, you’re kind of shocked. I feel like we kind of enter this chapter, wanted to be good parents and just take care of the baby. It came with a lot of changes as well. I also came up with so many insecurities. Everything came out. Seeing my body changing, it hasn’t been easy,” pagtatapat ni Celeste.
“Like every relationship, we go through our ups and downs. It’s just unfortunate that we are public figures, somehow, something comes out. It’s not easy when you’re pregnant and you’re already going through a lot privately.
“And it becomes so public. Definitely, it’s just like a normal relationship like everyone’s else. And we do have our ups and downs.
“Again, it’s just unfortunate it got out in a bad way. I know we do have a show where we talked a lot about our private life. But as much as possible we also try to have boundaries and what is our relationship.
“And keeping those boundaries always in place. It’s also just sensitive. Especially when it involves pregnancy and a child together.
“I think it’s important that people maintain respect around the relationship. So, we solved things between the two of us,” makahulugang pagtatapat ng beauty queen-actress.
“History has shown that Filipina women, also like men. They’ve won the crown by being full-blooded Filipinas and Filipinos. So, I don’t think that necessarily just the halfies have that kind of advantage of winning the crown.
“It has proven that full-blooded Filipinas, they’ve brought a lot of pride to the country without being a half. And me as a halfie also, I’m half-Italian and Filipina. Honestly, I do take pride from both cultures. I love my Italian heritage ‘coz that’s my dad’s side.
“And I love exploring my Filipino heritage which is my mom’s side. Also, my baby (boy), somehow also is a Filipino and halfie. I think it’s also important like I’ve decided and I wanted to represent the Philippines in Miss Universe and that’s because Philippines has always been in my heart,” pagbabahagi pa ni Miss Universe Philippines 2022.
