Duterte slips at home, but now OK
DAVAO CITY, Philippines — Former president Rodrigo Duterte was rushed to the emergency room of the Davao Doctors Hospital after he slipped in his bedroom at his home here Friday night.
However, Duterte was not admitted, but only had an x-ray before he was allowed to go home.
Senator Bong Go and the former president’s common-law wife, Honeylet Avanceña, accompanied him during the checkup.
Go said he thanked God when the x-ray showed there was nothing wrong with Duterte.
The senator revealed that Duterte even posed for pictures with the hospital staff.
Go also thanked the medical frontliners for their service and sacrifice during the COVID-19 pandemic.
