As part of its centennial celebrations next year, the influential Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) held a medical, relief and evangelical mission on Monday, which was expected to attract and benefit over a million people. But the event, dubbed as "Kabayan ko, Kapatid ko," also snarled traffic in the nation's capital, earning the ire of motorists and sparking criticisms against local officials. Known for its bloc-voting practice during elections, the religious group dismissed claims that there were political motives behind the event. Photos courtesy of Bullit Marquez, the Associated Press
