No quarrel with JV– Jinggoy

-
Sen. Jinggoy Estrada has denied any "rift" with his half brother, San Juan Mayor Joseph Victor Ejercito.

"We have no quarrel," he told a rally of his three candidates, dubbed "Jinggoy’s Choice" in barangay West Crame.

"I have no grudge against my brother. My father told me to love all my siblings. I have no quarrel with your mayor."

Estrada’s three candidates are re-electionist Councilor Bobby Yan; his cousin, Jana Ejercito, who is running for councilor; and Jojo Alcovendaz, a candidate for San Juan’s lone congressional district.

Alcovendaz will challenge Rep. Ronaldo Zamora.

Jinggoy’s Choice will face the "Performance Team" of Ejercito in the May 14 elections.

Estrada said San Juan has progressed under the administration of Ejercito and would become a city next month.

"Most of all, it is the people who will be deciding on his performance if it is above par or not," he said.

However, Estrada said he has "ill feelings" for some of Ejercito’s candidates, who are openly criticizing him.

"I will not get back at the councilors who had been hitting at me," he said.

Estrada is a son of ousted President Joseph Estrada by Sen. Luisa Ejercito, while Mayor Ejercito is by former actress Guia Gomez. – Non Alquitran
