'CoComelon' movie in development

MANILA, Philippines — A theatrical extension of the popular animated children's show "CoComelon" is in development, set for release in 2027.
Flywheel Media and Candle Media's Moonbug Entertainment have greenlit the project to be distributed by Universal Pictures.
Joining Moonbug and Flywheel as producers are Prime Focus Studios and DreamWorks Animation, with animation to be done by the DNEG Group.
"CoComelon" was launched in 2006 as "checkgate." It is a series that teaches children life skills through music.
The show, which centers around JJ and his best friends, averages over four billion average monthly views on YouTube, with more than 190 million subscribers to date. It has several spin-offs on Netflix.
