Kathryn Bernardo returns to Dreamscape Entertainment after 15 years

MANILA, Philippines — Box-office star Kathryn Bernardo's next TV assignment will reunite her with the same production unit that produced the remake of "Mara Clara" 15 years ago. 

Kathryn's next major TV project will be with Dreamscape Entertainment, one of the entertainment units of ABS-CBN. Kathryn has been doing projects with other units of ABS-CBN, notably Star Creatives. 

Dreamscape Entertainment announced Kathryn's return to their unit on its X account yesterday. 

"The wait is over. SHE IS BACK AND READY," it wrote.

Kathryn was launched to superstardom via "Mara Clara," the 2010 remake that pitted her against fellow child star Julia Montes. The original "Mara Clara" stars Judy Ann Santos and Gladys Reyes in the titular roles. The show ran from 1992 to 1997 on ABS-CBN. 

Kathryn had been busy with movies and reality TV shows, such as the 2024 sequel movie "Hello, Love, Again" and the recently concluded latest season of "Pilipinas Got Talent," where she was one of its judges.  

Her last teleserye was the romantic-comedy "2 Good 2 Be True" with ex-boyfriend Daniel Padilla last 2022.
