Joy’s final viewing will be held at the Felicidad Chapel of Arlington Memorial Chapels in Quezon City starting 4 p.m. She is set to be cremated, her friend said.
Joy had been suffering from diabetes since 2000. Her friends from the entertainment industry last year raised funds for her medical expenses after she was threatened to be amputated due to diabetes complications.
The comedienne just returned to showbiz last April. She was known for children’s show “Eskwelang Munti” and another youth television show “Ang TV” which launched her career in TV, movies and theater productions aside from her stand-up comedy stint. — Rosette Adel
