Korina earns another degree
MANILA, Philippines – Korina Sanchez-Roxas (photo) proudly shows off her Master of Arts in Journalism diploma which she got at the Ateneo de Manila University after finishing the two-year course.
Her thesis is an explanatory article on the “New Face of HIV/AIDS In The Philippines” which she is condensing for publication in a broadsheet.
“I worked really hard at this,” said Korina. “It isn’t easy finalizing a master’s project right smack in the middle of a national campaign. I’m ecstatic because I got a good grade.”
In the two years that Korina worked on her master’s degree, she and her team managed to win several awards from the PMPC Star Awards for TV in two categories, Best Magazine Show and Best Magazine Show Host both for Rated K.
The same show was also recognized by the New York Festival World’s Best TV & Films in the Biography/Profiles category for its feature on Rochelle Pondare’s rare and baffling medical condition.
