Ellen Adarna on Paulo Avelino: We're friends

MANILA, Philippines – Ellen Adarna clarified that she's just friends with Paulo Avelino.

The two were seen having some drinks together at the Star Magic Ball. The actress's date that night was her "Pasion de Amor" leading man Ejay Falcon.

"Yes, napag-usapan namin ni Paulo 'yan, natawa na kang kami," said Ellen in an interview with Push.com. "Matagal na kami magkaibigan and kung gugustuhin namin na maging kami, matagal na dapat 'yun."

Ellen also said that she already clarified to Ejay that she's not ready for a new relationship, asking him to stop courting her and "maging friends na lang muna."

In a separate interview, Ejay said that he doesn't want to rush whatever relationship he has with Ellen.
