Sarah Geronimo, TVJ to get special awards at 63rd FAMAS

MANILA, Philippines – The Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences Awards (FAMAS) is celebrating the six decades of Philippine cinema on their 63rd year.

The body will give out nine special awards this year, among which is the Iconic Movie Queens of Philippine Cinema to be awarded to Popstar Princess Sarah Geronimo, the youngest recipient of the award.

Other special award recipients are Gloria Romero, Susan Roces, Nora Aunor, Maricel Soriano and Dawn Zulueta.

Vic Sotto, Joey de Leon and Tito Sotto will receive the Lifetime Achievement award.

The 63rd FAMAS Awards Night will be on September 20 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in Resorts World Manila.
