RR Enriquez on failed relationships: They lack faith in God

MANILA, Philippines - RR Enriquez believes that lack of faith in God is the reason why some relationships don't work.

"It's really important na you have deep relationship with God talaga," she said in an interview on Wednesday. "I'm not saying naman na kaya hindi nag-work dahil wala silang God talaga, but mas blessed lang siguro kami na center ng relationship namin si God."

RR has been in a relationship with Barangay Ginebra point guard JJ Helterbrand for years now. Although their relationship is going strong, the couple haven't decided to settle down yet.

"Pero we're not in a rush, we're in a hurry!" she joked when asked why JJ haven't proposed yet. On a more serious tone she said, "'yong iba parang kinukuwestyon na, 'happy ka ba na di ka pa pinapakasalan ni JJ?' Actually feeling nila hindi ako happy, pero totoo happy ako."

The host-comedienne's parents are estranged while JJ came from a divorce and has a 15-year-old daughter; the reasons why the couple is not rushing into marriage.

RR said that If they will settle down, "gusto ko maayos na maayos talaga. Kung talagang ia-allow ni God na maging kami, kami."

Meanwhile, RR is happy that after her not so successful race in TV5's reality game show "Amazing Race" with bestfriend Jeck Maierhofer, they were immediately given a project.

They will be hosting the 30-minute morning show "Happy Wife, Happy Life" with other PBA player wives Danica Sotto-Pingris and LJ Moreno- Alapag.

"Para na rin kaming nanalo sa Amazing Race. May napala kami," said RR, laughing.

"Happy Wife, Happy Life" will air Monday to Friday, starting January 19, 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. on TV5.
