Joaquin set for birthday show

MANILA, Philippines - Joaquin Garcia (photo) is set for his birthday concert, which he himself conceptualized, tomorrow night, July 26, at The Library (on Maria Orosa St., Manila).

His past concerts were planned and directed by his mentor, Library owner Andrew ‘Mamu’ de Real. Titled Journey, the show features a repertoire that traces Joaquin’s growth as an artist.

A two-time gold medalist at the World Championships of the Performing Arts (WCOPA) in Hollywood, for Overall Champion in Original Composition and in the Contemporary Category, Joaquin started in showbiz at 15 on German Moreno’s That’s Entertainment.

He performs at The Library on Fridays and Saturdays.
