Sunsport Basketball camp to continue this weekend
CEBU, Philippines — On the heels of its highly successful clinic last summer, the Sunsport Basketball Training Camp will continue with its expanded program this weekend at the Sacred Heart Center Sports Club.
Camp director coach Jojo Romarate Teves, a veteran commercial coach and resident strategist of the Salazar Colleges of Science and Institute of Technology (SCSIT) Skyblazers, said the series of trainings will be held on Sundays only starting this July 7, from 10am to 12nn. The rest of the schedule are July 14, 21 and 28.
Open to aspiring cagers aged seven to 19 years old, Romarate said they will teach their students both the fundamentals and technical aspect of playing hoops such as proper shooting, passing, dribbling, footwork and defense.
Registration fee is pegged at P1,200 inclusive of a training jersey and Sunsport basketball 2019 edition.
