Sy wins gold in CETBA bowling

Brian Sy of Cebu Cherish School won the gold in the Cebu Tenpin Bowling Association (CETBA) Juniors 4th Quarter Tournament at SM City's Bowling Center.

The 13 year-old Sy scored 618 pins to win the battle against Beatrix Tan of SHS-J and Jonathan Ayoma of Marie Ernestine. Tan, with a total of 614 pinfalls,settled for second place but not after giving Sy some scary moments. A pin behind is Ayoma, who took third place honors.

Rounding up the top 10 cast of this event are Aui Padawan (612), Genie Silva (587), Joshua Chu (562), Jonard Chu (553), Jude Go (538), Joan Cornejo (535) and Patrick Petracorta with 533 pinfalls. — Caecent No-ot Magsumbol
