Developer maps out third project in Cebu

CEBU, Philippines - Real estate developer Apple One Properties Inc., is currently drawing up plans to introduce its third project in Cebu, this time an upscale by-the-sea condominium development.

Yvet V. Andalis, One Properties executive vice president announced that this project that will be situated in Punta Engaño, Mactan Island, is seen to strengthen this company's brand image, after it has successfully carved its name in the middle-range projects through the development of Apple One Tower at the Cebu Business Park, and the near completion of the Apple One Banawa Heights.

Andalis said that the company has seen the upbeat buyers' appetite in condo living and that high-end market segment is always a "sure ball", while both local and foreign buyers are looking for vacation homes, especially those that are located along the beach.

The company, she said has acquired a beach property in its bid to take advantage of the trend on by-the-sea and resort living trend worldwide.

She said the project will be a high-density condominium project that will be introduced toward early of 2016.

At present, Apple One Properties is wrapping up for the near completion of its second project, the Apple One Banawa Heights, as its total 1,322 units is already 80 percent sold.

The Victorian-inspired residential enclave, gained interest from 95 percent Cebuano buyers, most of them however are those working and currently residing abroad, who plans to make Cebu as their retirement home.

The third project in Mactan, she said will pioneer another innovative concept in resort-living lifestyle in Cebu, as the company will commission various international experts in this luxurious condominium project.

Apple One Properties is one of the most active local developers which put investments on international roadshows, directly promoting its products to countries where there are more Filipinos, or Cebuanos.

According to Andalis, the company already held 17 international roadshows since the development of its two projects. This coming March, she said her marketing team and agents, together with partner banks will be going to United Arab Emirates for another round of overseas roadshow.

The company, led by Cebu-based Ven Ray Construction, also part-owns several real estate properties in Cebu including Diamond Suites, Apple Tree Suites, BoardWalk City Residences at the North Reclamation Area, among others.  (FREEMAN)
