A Sony Xperia XZ2 experience
MANILA, Philippines — I can’t remember the last time I held a Sony mobile phone. What I do know is that everytime I want to replace my current cell phone, I go to the mall or search on the Net for the latest and preferably the most affordable phone.
Recently, I got a chance to try out the Sony Xperia XZ2, and found my Sony soulmate. Sony released this flaghip phone a few months ago.
Here are a few things that made me fall for the Xperia XZ2.
Let’s begin with the new look. The Sony Xperia XZ2 has a fluid 3D glass surface and a curved back, affording the user more comfortable handling. Its slim body with less bezel gives it a more stylish and classy look. The XZ2, with its 19 MP Motion Eye camera, is the world’s first 4K HDR video recorder in a smartphone. It records 960fps Super Slow Motion in HD or full HD and minimizes vibrations using Sony’s Dynamic Vibration System. I loved how all the movies and videos that I viewed were so rich, a uniquely stimulating experience. Add to this the powerful stereo speakers – perfect!
The Xperia XZ2 has a front and back Corning Gorilla Glass 5 with IP65/68, thus making the phone more durable and water/dust-resistant.
If you are into getting that 3D experience on a phone, the XZ2 is for you. It has a built-in 3D creator app that lets you create your own avatar for sharing on social media. With XZ2’s Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, everything you want to do on a phone becomes so easy.
One more very important factor that I look for in a smartphone is battery life. The Sony Xperia XZ2 does not disappoint. It is equipped with a 3180mAh battery and a stamina mode that allowed me to monitor battery usage. This battery also cuts energy consumption so that the battery stayed charged for a longer time than expected.
If you’re on the lookout for a new smartphone, give the Sony Xperia XZ2 a once-over. It might be just what you’re looking for.
