General Insurance Summit on April 24

MANILA, Philippines - The 10th Philippines General Insurance Summit will be held on April 24 at the Inter Continental Hotel in Makati City. This year’s theme is Technological, Regulatory, Weather/Climate Changes: The Insurer’s Advocacy Sustainability.  Keynote speaker is insurance commissioner Emmanuel Dooc. Other regional insurance issues to be discussed are: insurance regulations in Southeast Asia; an update of the country’s insurance industry; insurance capital requirements, risk management; technological sustainability; earthquake risk analysis; and the United Nation’s principles of sustainable insurance.
