Organizations’ guide to digital transformation

MANILA, Philippines — Digital transformation is a new business strategy for growth to differentiate customer experience, improve operational efficiency, and create a new business and service delivery model. To help organizations on this, the Center for Global Best Practices will launch an online training entitled, Best Practices in Digital Transformation Risk Management scheduled from 1:30 to 4:45 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, Dec. 2 and 3 via Zoom.

This special program will feature a risk-based approach when your organization is to undertake or undergo digital transformation of its processes and system to enable risk-free online transactions.

Learn the whole of organization approach to digital transformation, including ISO IT-related global standards and framework on outsourcing management and digital project development from international trainer, John Macasio. He is a consultant at the Information and Communications Technology Literacy and Competency Development Bureau of the Department of Information and Communications Technology.

He co-authored the United Nations ESCAP/APCICT published guidance on ICT Project Management – Theory and Application. The academy module has been introduced and translated in six countries.

This program is SEC-accredited for corporate governance. Key takeaways are applicable for both public and private sector. Enrollment is open to the general public and is highly recommended for personal information controllers (business owners, board directors, CEOs/ COOs, GMs, administrators, policy and decision-makers), personal information processors (everyone who process information), data protection officers, lawyers and consultants who would like to add these learnings to their list of services.

CGBP is an accredited training provider of the Securities and Exchange Commission, Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, Anti-Money Laundering Council, PRC-Board of Accountancy, DILG-Local Government Academy, and the Civil Service Commission. Government employees who enroll in this training will not be covered by the Philippine Procurement Law or RA 9184 based on its revised IRR’s Section 4.5-b, which classifies training and seminars as non-procurement activities. DBM circular 563 issued on April 22, 2016 also exempts public officials and government employees from the P2,000-limit per day on training fees.
