MANILA, Philippines — Isuzu Philippines Corp. (IPC) will soon open the doors of its new dealership in La Union.

IPC said in a statement it signed the contract with One Maharlika Motor Sales and Services Corp. last Dec. 3, for the launch of the newly built Isuzu La Union dealership.

IPC and One Maharlika Motor Sales broke ground on the La Union dealership exactly a year ago.

Covering 7,300-square meters (sqm), the La Union dealership is located along the national highway in Barrio Paringao in Bauang.

The new dealership features the Isuzu Outlet Standard for Isuzu dealerships, providing a cleaner and more streamlined interior and facade.

Through its 3,000-sqm showroom and service area, the dealership would have multiple vehicles on display and be able to service units in need of repair and maintenance.

It will carry Isuzu light commercial vehicles (LCVs) and CVs such as the mu-X sports utility vehicle, the D-MAX pickup, the Traviz light weight truck, as well as the N-Series, F-Series and C&E-Series trucks.

With the opening of a dealership in La Union, IPC would be able to cater to the transport needs of families, entrepreneurs and the agritourism industry in the area.

The new dealership is IPC’s 45th in the country, bringing the automotive firm closer to its Road to 50 Dealerships campaign goal.

As of end-October, IPC sold 8,477 vehicles, down 26 percent from the 11,494 vehicles in the same period last year.
