MANILA, Philippines - Everything is up in the air as far as the anticipated rematch between Filipino superstar Manny Pacquiao and new WBO welterweight champion Jeff Horn is concerned.

There’s a rematch clause for the fight that took place last Sunday at the Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane, where the 29-year-old Horn unanimous decision shocked the world.

While Pacquiao has contested the decision and said he wants a rematch, and that Horn has taken the challenge of a second fight, there’s nothing on the table just yet.

Pacquiao, a senator, can retire from boxing if he wants to.

Various reports said if and when a rematch takes place, sometime in November perhaps, it would take place at the 53,359-seat Etihad Stadium in Melbourne.

Last Sunday’s bloody contest drew a massive audience over ESPN, and was recorded as the most-watched boxing telecast on cable since 2006.

It was Pacquiao’s first fight since 2005 that was not aired on pay-per-view, and if there’s a rematch, pay-per-view providers may or may not jump in and be part of the show.

The fight has drawn great interest, and the WBO calling on five neutral and anonymous judges to review the scoring with no intention to reverse the outcome.
