A member of the Aegis Juris fraternity recounted in a Senate executive session Wednesday how he was ordered by their president, Arvin Balag, to lie about the circumstances of hazing victim Horacio "Atio" Castillo III's death.
John Paul Solano was among the fraternity members who rushed Castillo to the Chinese General Hospital where he was left alone and was told by Balag to inform the hospital that the victim was found in Balut, Tondo.
A series of chat messages among the members were presented by Manila Police District head Chief Supt. Joel Coronel showing how they tried to cover-up the incident.
