Palace declares Dec. 8 a holiday in Taguig

MANILA, Philippines — Malacañang declared December 8  a special non-working holiday in Taguig City.

Executive Secretary Paquito Ochoa recently signed Proclamation no. 914 designating December 8, which falls on a Monday this year, as holiday in commemoration of the city's foundation day

"It is but fitting and proper that people of the City of Taguig be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies," the Palace proclamation reads.
