WATCH: Jasmine, Sam work for the first time in TV5 mini-series

Chuck Smith - The Philippine Star

MANILA. Philippines – The best part of working together is "working together."

Thus said real-life couple Jasmine Curtis-Smith and Sam Concepcion, who currently star in the TV5 romantic-comedy mini-series “My Tag Boyfriend.”

“My Tag Boyfriend” is one of the four week-long shows that are part of the Kapatid network's “Wattpad Presents,” which sees a number of novels from the online writing community adapted for television.

This marks the first time Sam, an ABS-CBN talent, and Jasmine, a TV5 star, will work together. Their show will run until Friday, September 26.

“It came out very natural. I thought it was gonna be weird. Siyempre, when you play roles like that on screen, you say things that you don’t really normally say. Otherwise, it would be funny in a normal setting. Pero it’s weird kasi I thought it’s gonna be awkward at all. Akala ko magiging awkward pero hindi rin pala kasi siguro I guess our professional side really kicks in,” Sam said on working with Jasmine.

Jasmine said, “I’m not so much after running the spotlight or fame. As long as I have work, whatever it is, whatever network, whatever brand, whatever show, if it’s good content, I believe in it. If I like it then, I’ll go ahead with it and be thankful

“If it becomes a hit, if our loveteam is effective, and people like it. I’m ecstatic. Ibig sabihin, maganda ang chemistry namin,” she said.

Jasmine is currently figures in ABS-CBN actor Daniel Padilla's Youtube audio scandal.
