CEBU, Philippines — Aspiring Cebuano hoopsters will have another avenue to further hone up their skills via the Cebu City leg of the Passion Basketball Summer Camp 2018 starting on May 3 at the City Sports Club-Cebu.

Open to young ballers aged six to 17 years old, the summer cage clinic will be spearheaded by Cebuano PBA player Robert Labagala.

The pride of Barangay Tanke, Talisay first sharpened his athletic talent while donning the University of the Visayas (UV) Baby Lancers uniform during his high school days. He went on to play with the University of the East (UE) Red Warriors in college.

In the 2010 PBA Draft, the 34-year-old Labagala was selected 12th overall by the Barangay Ginebra Kings. He later moved to Barako Bull Energy before suiting up for the Talk 'N Text Tropang Texters where he won his first and only championship in the 2014-15 season.

Now its Labagala's turn to polish the skills of the young ones. His camp, that is limited only to 50 participants, covers a total of eight sessions wherein he will teach the campers on the fundamentals of the sport such as proper shooting, dribbling, passing, footwork as well as some offensive and defensive drills. Entry fee is pegged at P2,500 inclusive of a basketball and training shirt.
