“Raspberry Macaroons”

Macaroons are one of the world’s well-loved treats. These small circular cakes are typically made with coconuts (as well as with other types of nuts), egg white, and sugar.

Though its earliest recipe on record is ascribed to entail the use of ground almonds, contemporary variations of the treat don’t always follow this recipe – owing to the active creativity of today’s culinary maestros.
