‘Inday Will Always Love You’ cast in Cebu tomorrow
CEBU, Philippines — A few days before it airs on primetime, GMA Network’s newest rom-com series “Inday Will Always Love You” will spread kilig and good vibes in Cebu tomorrow.
The Kapuso Network’s regional arm, GMA Regional TV (RTV), is bringing the series’ lead stars Barbie Forteza and Derrick Monasterio, together with Super Tekla and Manilyn Reynes, to Cebu for a Kapuso Mall Show in Gaisano Island Mall Mactan. Fun starts at 4 p.m.
“Inday Will Always Love You” is set to conquer television beginning May 21. Produced by GMA News and Public Affairs, the series will showcase the unique beauty and rich culture of Cebu where most of the scenes were shot. It will also highlight the colorful stories of Cebuanos and of the Filipino family.
In the series, Barbie plays the Manileña girl Happylou Magtibay – a bubbly and optimistic lechon store assistant whose life takes a topsy-turvy turn when she makes a career move in search for her father in Cebu.
Joining Barbie in this new show is Derrick, who portrays Patrick, a rich Cebuano bachelor. Super Tekla is Kimberlou, Happylou’s good friend. Manilyn plays Happylou’s mother Marta.
Also in the series are Ricky Davao, Nova Villa, Gladys Reyes, Tina Paner, Juancho Trivino, Kim Rodriguez, “Lumen Twins” Charisse and Charlotte Hermoso, Kimpoy Feliciano, Buboy Villar, and Fliptop Artists Mzhayt and Price Tagg.
“Before its nationwide pilot airing on Monday (May 21), we are bringing ‘Inday Will Always Love You’ to our Kapusong Cebuanos. Like our cast who spent weeks in Cebu to capture the beauty and culture of the province, we are also excited to finally show our viewers this latest rom-com series from the Kapuso Network,” says GMA RTV Vice President and Head Oliver Amoroso. “We hope that they will have fun with the stars of ‘Inday Will Always Love You,’” he adds.
