CEBU, Philippines - Helbert Arsenal Canonigo, the proprietor of Cebu’s award-winning event organizer C and I Events, initially talked with the management of CreWorks Asia headed by chief executive officer Jim Acosta, to be partners in bringing more celebrities to the Queen City of the South and beyond for its future projects.

CreWorks Asia manages the careers of Mister World 2016 first runner-up Fernando Alvarez, Miss Earth-Air 2012 Stephany Stefanowitz, “Fun Home” and “Dolce Amore” singer-actor Laurence Mossman, aside from its strong connection with different Manila-based talent-management companies. Acosta assured Canonigo that Creworks Asia would provide C and I Events its needed celebrities for its future star-studded events.

Acosta and Canonigo’s first project together, which happened yesterday, is taking in Pinoy-Rican Fernando Alvarez as host of the Christmas party of Lear Corporation.

Last June, Canonigo received the Most Outstanding Wedding Planner of the Year award given by the Business Achievement and Recognition Awards Council (BARAC) Cebu for C and I Events. Aside from its flagship service, which is wedding coordination, the company is also known for organizing teambuilding activities, workshops, concerts, themed corporate parties, debut and birthday parties, and other events.

It has already hired celebrities like Boholano comedienne Giselle Sanchez and Mister World 2013 first runner-up Andrew Wolff for its previous corporate events.

“We want to create the best events for our clients, especially the Cebuanos. C and I Events makes sure that it surpasses clients’ expectations by providing unparalleled event styles and concepts. One way of making these events more colorful and memorable is by inviting celebrities as judges, hosts or even performers,” said Canonigo.

For event bookings, C and I Events can be reached through the personal Facebook account of Helbert Arsenal Canonigo. (FREEMAN)
