CCCI to elevate industry standards with comprehensive GMP training

CHAMBER BEAT - The Freeman

The Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) is set to host a comprehensive training program on Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) on September 27-28, 2023, at the Cebu Chamber Centre in Cebu City.

This vital training endeavor aims to equip entrepreneurs with essential knowledge and skills crucial for ensuring product quality and safety. The GMP training will cover fundamental topics including an introduction to food safety, the importance of proper handwashing, personal hygiene practices, and the prevention of cross-contamination. These topics are of utmost importance for businesses operating in the food, cosmetics, and beverage industries, among others.

Beyond the basics, the training will also delve into the technical aspects of business production. Companies participating in the training will gain insights into standards for equipment design, cleaning procedures, maintenance practices, as well as principles related to facility layout and design. These elements collectively contribute to enhancing the efficiency and safety of business production processes.

To further mitigate the risks of business errors and future-proof enterprises, the training also tackles essential areas such as pest control, GMP documentation, raw material selection, self-inspection protocols, and internal audit practices. These components are vital for ensuring that businesses adhere to the minimum safety standards mandated by regulatory bodies, including the Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) and other relevant government agencies.

By participating in this training, companies will be better equipped to align with the standards and requirements outlined by the FDA, which are essential for obtaining the coveted License to Operate.

The two-day training initiative empowers industry leaders with the knowledge and expertise needed to implement Good Manufacturing Practices, ensuring that they remain competitive by delivering safe products to the market.

Registration comes with an investment fee of Php 5,000, exclusive of VAT for CCCI members, and Php 6,000 plus VAT for non-CCCI members.

This is your chance to learn and make your business grow.
