Parks, Dolphins win

MANILA, Philippines — Ray Parks Jr. spoiled Dwight Ramos’ Japan B. League debut as the Nagoya Diamond Dolphins swept the Toyama Grouses even as Kiefer Ravena and the Shiga Lakestars zoomed to top over the weekend.

Parks sizzled with 17 markers, six rebounds, two assists and four steals in only 21 minutes of action as Nagoya scored a repeat 99-74 road win at the Toyama City Gym.

Meanwhile, Kiefer and the Lakestars scored two road wins against Kyoto at the Hannaryz Arena – 84-83 and 95-72 – to improve to 5-1 atop the 20-team field.
