‘Big Event’ 6-stag derby in Las Piñas
MANILA, Philippines — It’s six more days before the annual AAO Big Event 6 -Stag Derby is staged at the Las Piñas Coliseum.
Host Gerry Ramos of Against All Odds entry confirmed the participation of 50 bigtime cockers, most of them also preparing for the 2019 World Pitmasters Cup 9 -Stag Derby, which starts on Sept.19 at the Resorts World Manila.
With a total of 150 fights slated, action begins at 12 noon.
The formidable cast include Arman Santos, Paolo Malvar, Patrick Antonio, Las Piñas Mayor Nene Aguilar, Charlie “Atong” Ang, RJ Mea, Reps. Eddiebong Plaza and Sonny Lagon, Art Sev, Lito Orillaza, Vice Mayor Nestor Mercado, Gov. Ito Ynares, Dori Du and Sammy Uy of Davao, Gerald Go and Eric dela Rosa.
Stags with local bands of International Federation of Gamefowl Breeders (FIGBA -Bakbakan) and Pambansang Federation Ng Gamefowl Breeders, Inc. (PFGB, Inc. - Digmaan) will be accepted (weight limits of 1.7 kgs. to 2.150 kgs.).
The LPC 30th Anniversary 5-Stag Derby of Aguilar comes next on Sept. 9, 12 and 15. followeded by the Alexander 4-Stag Derby (Alex Tobias) on Oct. 16.
