Lady Altas reach NCAA women’s volleyball semifinals

MANILA, Philippines — Perpetual Help leaned on its strong attacking game to eliminate Jose Rizal U, 25-13, 19-25, 25-21, 25-14, and advance to the NCAA women’s volleyball semifinals at the Filoil Flying V Centre in San Juan  yesterday.

Cindy Imbo drilled in a match-high 18 points while teaming up with skipper Bianca Tripoli, Jhona Rosal and Shyra Mae Umandal, who added 14, 13 and 13 hits, respectively, in helping send the Lady Altas to the Final Four with a 6-3 slate.

In the semis, Perpetual will tackle elims top seed College of St. Benilde.
