Top division teams clash for WBL crowns

MANILA, Philippines — It’s going to be an explosive BEST Center Sunday when top teams in four divisions clash for Women’s Basketball League (WBL) crowns in two courts at Xavier School.

Championship battles will be held at the Jacinto Tiu competition court while games for third place will be at the Jacinto Tiu practice court.

Our Lady of Fatima University clashes with Philippine Women’s University at 8:30 a.m. for the 25-Under championship while College of St. Benilde and Polytechnic University of the Philippines collide for third place at the same time.

De la Salle-Zobel and Chiang Kai Shiek University battle for the 18-U Competitive Division crown simultaneous with the third-place clash between University of Santo Tomas and Our Lady of Fatima University at 9:45 a.m.

The 11 a.m. 18-U Development Division championship clash will be between Escuela de Sophia and Highway Hills Integrated School, simultaneous with the third-place battle between St. Scholastica’s College and St. Bridget School.
