MANILA, Philippines – Newly minted UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor wants another title: pay-per-view king.

The outspoken McGregor said he is confident of smashing the revenue generated by the super fight between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao last May.

McGregor insisted that at his age, he will be able to surpass the Mayweather-Pacquiao fight in terms of revenue. The bout, which sold about 4.6 million PPV buys and raked in over $410 million, is the richest in boxing history.

“What did Floyd vs Manny do? 72 Million? I’m catching up. I’m only 27. Them old [expletive] were 40 before they got that. I’m only warming up!” McGregor said after making quick work of Jose Aldo to become the new UFC featherweight king, knocking out the Brazilian star in a record 14 seconds.

“I said to (UFC co-founder) Lorenzo Fertitta, and I said to (UFC president) Dana (White), I’m bringing in these big numbers. I’m bringing in these half a billion dollar revenues, like the Mayweather-Pacquiao fight has done,” he said.

McGregor's stellar win made him the UFC’s biggest star especially after Ronda Rousey ended her remarkable reign as the UFC women’s bantamweight champion.

“At 27 years of age, with every record in the book, with weight divisions above, ready for me to go at, super-fights left and right. Tell me one other champion who has been like that. I’m bringing these numbers, and sky’s the limit,” he added.
