Mangulabnan tops Class A in Forest Hills Chair’s Cup

MANILA, Philippines - Rodel Mangulabnan emerged as Class A champion and led the roster of winners in the 12th Forest Hills Golf and Country Club Chairman’s Cup at the rolling layout in Antipolo on Feb. 1.

Paul Tanjangco (Class B), Joel Agbanlog (Class C), Armando Sison (Class D), Tony Olives (guests), Violy Pegels (Ladies Division 1) and Ma. Cristina Ojeda (Ladies Division 2) topped their respective classes in the 18-hole tournament, which drew 240 participants.

Roy Vergara also emerged as a big winner, driving home a Hyundai i-10 car from BOAAZ Hyundai along Marcos Highway.

Forest Hills chairman Ferdinand Santos, club general manager Romeo Carlos, Hyundai’s Jon Fernandez and George Blaylock of Mitsubishi/Diamond Motors Marcos Highway presented Vergara the car key during the awards rites hosted by Bettina Carlos, Eddie Boy Santos and Ernie Reyes.

The Vito Mismo Band provided music and entertainment during the festivities of the event presented by BOAZ Hyundai and Golforce, Inc.

Health products distributor Whealth, Inc. was a major sponsor. Hyundai, Texas Eagle and Club Car golf  carts, Emperador  De Luxe, Taishan Insurance Brokers, Wilson Sports and Silicon Computers provided hole-in-one prizes.
