Kidzhoops leveling up at RFM gym

MANILA, Philippines - Kidzhoops, the leading community-based basketball tournament, is inviting all boys and girls, beginners or experienced, aged 8 to 14, to its third conference leveling on Sept. 6, at 2 p.m. at RFM Gym along Pioneer St., Mandaluyong.

Kidzhoops organizer Eva Celestino said the game will be held after the 1 p.m. registration.

For a nominal registration fee the kids will play four league games and one tournanment game with certified referees and table officials.

Playing jerseys will be provided. Medals and individual awards are at stake in the all-Sunday league which gives players equal playing time in the first three quarters under its motto “Where Everybody Plays”.

Players will be divided into three age groups – 10-under (8-10), 12-under (11-12), and 14-nder (13-14). Only 40 slots per age group will be open on a first-come-first-served basis. Tournament proper starts Sept. 27.
