Arellano seals 8th win

MANILA, Philippines – Defending champion Arellano University downed La Consolacion College of Manila, 76-70, to seal an eighth win in a row and the top seed in Group B in the seniors’ division of the 15th Fr. Martin Summer Cup at the San Beda Gym.

Universal College walloped NCBA, 80-42, and PMMS edged San Sebastian-Cavite, 64-62, in other seniors’ match while Ateneo smashed National U, 104-75, and Letran trounced Perpetual, 92-72, in the juniors’ section.

Far Eastern U overpowered University of the East, 67-29, and Adamson upstaged Ateneo, 67-65, on the distaff side.
