Gabii nahimong mabulokon ang Miss Cebu pre-pageant sa Fuente Osmeña Rotunda. Nagpakitang gilas ang mga kandidata sa pagrampa sul-ob ang mga creations nilang Humberto Villegas, Pewee Senining, Hadhi Godinez, Ivan Belocura ug Dexter Alazas. BANAT HUGYAW: WHY DID YOU JOIN MISS CEBU?

JUNE: Honestly, I have always wanted to join Miss Cebu. I know many opportunities will open for me and I’ll be able to enhance myself in terms of socialization and be able to develop my personality more. I love it and dream it. I am now enjoying the trainings, tours, workshops and the likes.

BANAT HUGYAW: WHAT ARE YOUR PREPARATIONS FOR THE PAGEANT?

JUNE: I am very concern on improving my communication skills. Miss Cebu is not just a pretty face but also the ambassadress of Cebu so I make sure whenever I have the time, I read current events and make myself aware of the important issues concerning the city and the women in particular.

BANAT HUGYAW: UNSA MAN IMONG FIRST PROJECT KUNG IKAW ANG MAMAHIMONG SUNOD NGA MISS CEBU?

JUNE: I would like to visit a rehabilitation center for women. I understand their sensitivity because of all that they have experienced but I want to visit them to make them feel that in my simple way, i can encourage them that they have the chance to be loved.

BANAT HUGYAW: WHY DID YOU JOIN MISS CEBU?

ERICA: I joined Miss Cebu because I want to be a role model to my fellow Cebuanas. I want to encourage the people to help in making Cebu a better place.

BANAT HUGYAW: DO YOU HAVE ANY ADVOCACY?

ERICA: Since I am taking up Interior Design, I want to encourage my fellow Cebuanos to recycle and to also make use of the indigenous materials that we have. With these things, we can definitely create unique furniture and accessories that Cebu can be very proud of. Let’s not waste our resources, let us be very creative and productive. I am for GREENER Cebu.

BANAT HUGYAW: AFTER MISS CEBU, HOW DO YOU WANT PANYANG TO BE REMEMBERED BY YOUR CO-CANDIDATES?

ERICA: I want my co-candidates to remember me as person who doesn’t only have a beautiful face and has intelligence but also as a person who is brave and willing to serve Cebu.
