Vape shop sa Cotabato, ni-raid ng NBI
MANILA, Philippines — Sinalakay ang isang vape store ng mga ahente ng National Bureau of Investigation-Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (NBI-BARMM), sa Cotabato City sa lantarang pagbebenta ng mga hindi rehistradong vape products, sa iniulat nitong Linggo.
Sa ulat na isinumite kay NBI Director Judge Jaime Santiago ng NBI-BARMM, dinakip ang isang alyas “Jhon Rheven”, sa ikinasang buy-bust operation sa paglabag sa Republic Act 11900 (Vaporized Nicotine and Non-Nicotine Products Regulation Act) at Republic Act 7394 (Consumer Act of the Philippines).
Nag-ugat ang operasyon sa natanggap na liham ng NBI mula sa Department of Trade and Industry-Office for Special Mandate on Vaporized Nicotine and Non-Nicotine Products, their Devices and Novel Tobacco Products (DTI-OSMV).
Matapos ang surveillance, isinagawa na ang entrapment, kung saan nakabili ang mga operatiba ng mga naka-display na ‘di rehistradong vape products.
